March 2010 is set to be an exciting time in raising awareness of Maudsley Family-Based Treatment with the launch in London of My Kid Is Back.

Routledge has acquired the exclusive European and North American distribution rights for My Kid Is Back* and will launch the book at a National Family Network Day in London on Saturday, March 13.

The national family network day is part of an exciting agenda for the Eating Disorders International Conference (EDIC 2010). This inaugural conference has been organized by b-eat - the leading UK charity for people with eating disorders and their families, in association with Wiley-Blackwell – publishers of the European Eating Disorders Review.

I will be in London from March 8 to March 13 to take part in events surrounding the UK release of My Kid Is Back. I look forward to this opportunity in raising awareness of Family-based Treatment for Anorexia.

For details of my book promotion schedule for My Kid Is Back go to: Routledge Mental Health - My Kid Is Back

The EDIC 2010 will take place at Kensington and the National Family Network Day will provide carers with a valuable opportunity to interact with healthcare professionals working in the field.

Chief executive of Beat, Susan Ringwood, has invited me to participate as a table host at the National Family Network Day. I'm excited about this opportunity to catch up with many people - families, carers, health practitioners and researchers - working tirelessly to raise awareness of eating disorders and evidence-based treatments.
Let me know if you will be there!
